"I am a 21 year-ole Americanized Chinese guy, who was born and raised on the bricks of Boston, MA....."

Art is my life. I started drawing when I first picked up a crayon in one hand and a piece of paper in the other. I was 2 years old when I started drawing cars and trucks. I received many awards in elementary and middle school for my artwork. I loved art class and music class in elementary school. Art and music are my true strengths. In middle school I focused more on art because I wasn’t feeling the music class.

Growing up, I participated in many kid’s programs. I’ve helped out wtith creating T-shirts, posters, flyers, or just sketching for fun in my free time. I have also done some acting in talent shows and holiday speicals, written poetry and song lyrics, and sung in several school choirs.

In high school there was no art or music class. Yet, I showed my teachers that I could draw and after that I helped my French teacher design many posters. In the next two years I had Spanish class. My Spanish teacher learned I could draw, so I drew a lot and added Spanish dialogue to my homework. She loved it. During my final year in high school, the school hired an art instructor and I was able to receive formal training.

In my first year of college I was introduced to the Comptuer Clubhouse by a friend that has been a member for years. From that day forward I’ve been going to the Clubhouse and learning new technologies to enhance my artwork. My major focus in college was graphic design and I am proud to call myself a Graphic Designer, Animanator, Artist, Photographer. Singer,Actor, and a Model. I am a mentor at the Clubhouse and I have been here almost three years.

I have learned a lot from Clubhouse staff. I have been skilled in graphic art, Flash, animation, video game production, and creating music beats. I have also taken on creating and directing movies, project photography, singing as a group, and modeling for advertisments.

This year I am also part of the Year-Up program. I studied Graphic Arts and Web Design in 2003, and now try to be a role model to the students that join Year-Up. I am currently a full-time Web Developer Intern at a larger hi-tech company. In the furture I will be a successful businessman with my own design company.
