I
have been living in Boston all my life. Japanese animation has always been a
source of inspiration and entertainment for me. I get a lot of ideas from anime
and fantasy artists. Their are many members of the Clubhouse that have influenced
my artwork, in particular Vaughn Rogers and Kalamu Kieta are mentors to me.
At first I drew very simple anime style artwork but with some help from other
members in the Clubhouse I have learned how to shade images better and add more
details to my images.
I like coming to the Clubhouse because
I have met many different artists with different skills and backgrounds that
makes coming to the Clubhouse exciting. I have also had the opportunity to
intern at the Media Lab and work on a software called Flash. I learned how
to create webpages and animate on Flash.
