Music has always been a part of my life. When I was a
kid I participated in a band, I used an African drum and different instruments.
The music that I create now is based on my environment. I grew up in Roxbury,
where things were rough. The beats that you are going to hear are sounds
that came to me. Some of the my songs are not totally complete. When I
compose my music I work on what ever comes to me. If it's negative or
positive I'll work with it. I try to make my music positive. I feel that
many people make music that is negative because that's what they think
the youth want to hear. however, the journey should be the other way becuase
we are their roll model.
