Getting started
Using the "Being a Film Maker" worksheet to guide you, have kids create a movie about natural and man-made wonders of the local area and state.
Have kids use the internet to collect facts about their city and state and how these figures compare to other states.
Try to find pictures of and information on how these wonders are created, whether natural or man-made.
Assemble pictures into a story outline about your state and its attractions
.
With an outline in hand, kids can work on a script and visual aids for a movie. If there is time, film it!
