• You can find dowels at a craft or hardware store, and wooden chopsticks at an Asian grocery store.
  
  
• Beans and corn kernels should be at any grocery store.
  
  
• Large plastic buckets could come from restaurants or chemical supply, such as a swimming pool store, but be careful that they're thoroughly clean and not hazardous.
