Computer Clubhouse Mentor and Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities are growing!

Clubhouse Adult or Jr. Mentor

Mentors play an important role in each Computer Clubhouse, helping to support, inspire, and engage youth. Mentors are available to answer questions and support the exploration and learning of Clubhouse Members. For example, Mentors help youth create webpages, make their own animations, make videos, help conduct a web search, compose music, and much much more. Mentors act as guides, helping youth with their explorations, introducing new project ideas and technologies, as well as serving as role models.

Mentors are professionals and students in art, music, engineering, education, and a variety of other fields. No experience is necessary, just an interest in learning and working with young people and/or providing technical support a few hours each week...all while having fun!

Mentors typically volunteer 2 hours, 1 day per week, for a period of 3-6 months. Please note: in some areas, volunteer commitments vary.  Please see specific site information for more detail.
